Paul’s warning

If anyone teaches anything that or the have not taught…

…or anything not based on and encouraging God’s character…

…he more highly of himself than he ought…

…and doesn’t the truth about what God has revealed…

…but has an fascination with (and focus on)…

… things that God has not provided much information about…

…and likes to the definitions of words.

These teachers the sinful nature and people of the truth revealed by God.

They attempt to gain for themselves by godliness as “godlike.”

Godliness, conformation to God’s moral character, and contentment are the means to what is most important.

God graciously provides all that is through Jesus, and striving for more of what is inferior is foolish.

what people teach and avoid those who teach falsely.
